There’s a point when another dinner reservation, another brunch, another “let’s grab drinks” starts to feel exactly like the last one.
Not because there’s anything wrong with dinner. Sometimes you just want to do something that actually changes the mood of the day.
That’s the space Reset Vibes was built for.
We started with wellness, but somewhere along the way realized that the part people remember most isn’t whether they did yoga, listened to a sound bath, drank cacao or spent half an hour surrounded by puppies.
It’s the feeling of stepping out of their normal routine and into something that feels a little more intentional.
Sometimes that means lying on a mat in a dark room while a gong fills the space. Sometimes it means drinking cacao after a slow yoga practice with your friends. Sometimes it means laughing through Puppy Yoga and forgetting for an hour that you technically came there to exercise.

The best events usually start with a feeling, not an activity
When someone contacts us about a private event, one of the first things we want to know isn’t which package they want.
It’s how they want the room to feel.
Do you want everyone relaxed? Do you want people laughing? Do you want something intimate and quiet, or something playful that gets the whole group interacting with each other?
Once you know that, the actual format becomes much easier to build.
A sound bath can feel completely different from one event to another. Puppy Yoga can be a birthday activity, a girls’ day, a family experience or just an excuse to do something ridiculously cute with your friends. Yoga can be energetic, grounding, slow, playful or paired with cacao and sound.
The point isn’t to squeeze every group into the same package.
It’s to build the experience around the people who are actually going to be there.
Wellness doesn’t have to be serious
A lot of people like the idea of wellness but don’t necessarily want to spend their Saturday talking about chakras or sitting perfectly still for an hour.
Fair.
Some people want deep rest. Some want something reflective. Some want to move. Some just want to laugh and leave in a better mood than they arrived.
That’s why some of our most popular experiences are also the least serious.
Puppy Yoga is a good example. There is yoga, yes. But there are also puppies doing absolutely nothing you planned for them to do, people laughing in downward dog, and usually at least one person who clearly came for the puppies and is simply tolerating the yoga portion.
And somehow, that still counts as a reset.
For people searching for puppy yoga in the Chicago suburbs or fun wellness events in Chicagoland, that’s often exactly what they’re looking for: something that feels good without feeling like homework.
Sometimes you don’t need another night out
A lot of private events start with the same problem.
Someone has a birthday coming up, or a bachelorette, or a group of friends finally manages to find one day when everyone is free. And then comes the question: what do we actually do? Dinner is easy. Drinks are easy. A spa day is nice. But sometimes you want the day to feel a little more memorable than that.
Private wellness experiences give you another option.
You can move together, have a sound bath, drink cacao, spend time with puppies, journal, talk, laugh, or combine a few things into one experience that feels more like your group.
That’s especially nice for birthdays, girls’ days and bachelorettes where not everyone wants the same thing.
One person wants to relax. One person wants photos. One person wants something meaningful. One person just wants to have fun.
A good experience can hold all of that without becoming overly complicated. Private sound baths work because nobody has to be “good” at them This is one of the things we love about private sound baths.
There is almost no performance involved.
You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to know how to meditate. You don’t need to understand sound healing. You don’t need to share anything personal with the group. You lie down, get comfortable, and listen.
That makes private sound baths especially good for groups where everyone is different. Birthdays, retreats, bachelorettes, family gatherings, corporate groups, the experience doesn’t require everyone to be at the same fitness level or in the same social mood.
Some people fall into a very deep state of relaxation. Some think about their life. Some almost fall asleep. Some just enjoy being somewhere quiet for an hour.
All of those are valid experiences.
And afterward, we can keep it simple or add something around it: herbal tea, journaling, a short reflection, a seasonal ritual or just time to sit and talk. Corporate wellness has a branding problem A lot of employees hear “corporate wellness activity” and immediately imagine something they are supposed to enjoy because HR told them to. We get it.
So when we create corporate wellness experiences in Chicago and the suburbs, we try not to make them feel like wellness assignments.
Sometimes a team needs movement and energy. Sometimes they need forty minutes where nobody is asking them a question. Sometimes they need something playful that gets people out of their usual work roles. And sometimes the best thing you can give a group is simply an experience they wouldn’t have chosen for themselves but end up genuinely enjoying. The goal isn’t forced bonding. t’s giving people a different environment to be in together.

You do not need to know exactly what kind of event you want
Private inquiries often start much more simply than people expect. Someone might tell us they are planning a birthday, a girls’ day or a team event and that they want to do something different, but they have no idea what the actual format should be.
That is completely enough to start with.
We usually learn much more by asking about the group than by asking which package they want. Do they want to move or would they rather relax? Do they already know each other well? Should the event feel playful, intimate, beautiful, restorative, or a little unexpected? Do they want conversation and interaction, or would they actually love an hour where nobody needs to talk at all?
Once that part is clear, the structure of the event becomes much easier to build. Yoga, sound, cacao, journaling, puppies or a combination of different elements can all work, but the activity itself should support the mood rather than become the entire point.
What Reset Vibes actually does
Reset Vibes creates wellness experiences for people who want something that feels a little more intentional than a standard class and a little more interesting than another dinner reservation.
Some events are quiet and reflective, while others are playful or social. Some are built around sound and stillness, others around movement, cacao, or simply giving a group of people a reason to spend time together in a different way.
What matters to us is not whether someone leaves with a huge emotional breakthrough or a perfect wellness story to tell. Sometimes the value is much simpler than that: you relaxed for the first time all week, laughed with your friend, had a conversation you would not have had otherwise, or spent two hours doing something that actually felt different from your normal routine.
That is still a reset.
And when we create private events, we try to start from that same place. You do not need to arrive with a fully formed concept. You can tell us who is coming, what you are celebrating, and how you want the experience to feel, and we can build from there.
